The Bursary Scheme

In its current form, a receiving Organisation in the Commonwealth is provided with an intern for one month, who has recently completed the BPTC and has been chosen by competitive selection through the means of an essay competition. The intern will have their flights and per diem expenses paid, with the obligation to produce a report on return from their trip.

The NGO’s involved in the scheme to date have gone to great lengths to ensure that the intern receives an informative and well rounded work placement in which a snapshot of the legal system of that Country is gained. The bursary scheme has been operational since 2012 and has proved to be an invaluable experience for the winners.
